Jim Cooper recently performed at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago to celebrate his new release, Chi-Town Sessions on Jazmyn Records. Recorded between 1983 and 1990, Chi-Town Sessions features 14 musicians and features the music of Cooper, Bob Dogan, Gordon Brisker and Akio Sasajima.  It is available at performaces and will be available at cdbaby.com as well as Itunes soon.
