Jim Cooper, Ken Cooper, Tim King, Jim Allen

Everybody loves Louis Armstrong and his music!  Mr. Armstrong is one of the most important figures in jazz and trumpeter and vocalist Kenny Cooper brings it all together with “A Tribute to Louis Armstrong” that spans the music of Louis' early days with songs like “Struttin' With Some Barbeque,” to his most popular period with “Hello Dolly,” “When You're Smilin'” and “What a Wonderful World.”  In addition, they have added  songs made famous by the great vibraphonist Lionel Hampton with Jim Cooper playing the Hamp role on vibes along with his duties as pianist. Expect to hear Hamp's famous hits like “Flying Home,”"Memories of You" and “Midnight Sun” as well as stories and anecdotes on these two famous figures. Also rounding out the quartet is the multi-talented bassist Tim King and Dr. Jim Allen on drums, who recently retired from dentistry, now spending full time in music.
